Enrolling at DCP

The 2020-2021 Classes Page is up to date with availability. If you are interested in joining DCP, the enrollment process is below. We are a cooperative preschool and parent involvement is a huge part of our community. We ask all prospective families to read through the materials in Step One prior to registering, as well as contact us with questions/set up a tour, etc. if desired. These steps ensure families understand our co-op model and are prepared to join us.

  • In-person drop off at Duvall Cooperative Preschool (arrangements must be made in advance)

Tuition Payment Options:

  • PayPal

  • Email dcpreschool@gmail.com and request a Quickbook Invoice

  • Personal Check (mailed with registration paperwork or in-person drop off)

Step Four

  • The DCP Registrar will send confirmation of registration and a welcome letter with next steps.

    • First month's tuition and the Program & Supply fee will be due on the 1st of the month the student is joining a class.​​ Program & Supply fees are non-refundable.


Please Note: Students enrolling mid-year may only join a class on the first of the month. Registration paperwork and fees must be submitted no later than the 20th of the month, for a student to begin on the 1st of the following month. For example, if registration paperwork and fees are submitted by February 20th, the student will begin class on March 1st (or the first scheduled day of class for March). Tuition and the Program & Supply fee is due March 1st. If registration paperwork and fees are submitted February 21st or later, the student will begin class on April 1st (or the first scheduled day of class in April). Tuition and the Program & Supply fee is due April 1st.

Transferring Classes

If your child is currently enrolled in a class at DCP, and you would like to transfer to a different class, please see the steps below.

  1. Talk with Ms. Amy. She will help assess whether a change in class would be beneficial.

  2. Send an email to dcpreschool@gmail.com requesting a transfer; include details of why a transfer is being requested.

  3. Requests are reviewed monthly at board meetings, with Ms. Amy.

    • Board meetings are the 1st Tuesday of each month.​

    • All requests must be received by the 1st Monday of the month in order to be reviewed at the board meeting.

  4. You will receive a response to your transfer request within 24 hours of the board meeting.​​

    • If approved, your enrollment date for the transfer will be on the 1st day of the following month. ​

      • Mid-month transfers are not allowed, due to changes in the classroom, registration, tuition billing, etc.​

    • Please note, transfers are not guaranteed. Decisions will be based on Ms. Amy's assessment, availability in class, etc.​

Open Houses

Duvall Cooperative Preschool is dedicated to the health and safety of our teachers, parents and students. We are following state requirements for COVID-19, therefore our school is closed at this time. We are not hosting Open Houses or giving tours of our buidling.
